Report: Iran’s oil sales hit new record in past 14 months
Iran’s oil sales during the last 14 months have hit a new record despite US-led pressures, according to Oil Minister Mohsen Paknejad.
Speaking to reporters on the sidelines of a cabinet session on Wednesday, Paknejad said the process of selling oil is ongoing but it cannot be discussed in the media because the enemies will identify the ways the country is circumventing the existing sanctions.
“We hope that some day we can explain these processes so that you see how the sales team sells oil with tactfulness and people would not be concerned about this issue,” he said.
He also said that the recent tariffs and the so-called snapback of sanctions against Iran would not restrict the country’s oil exports.
