Iran CAO denies issuing NOTAM, confirms airspace conditions remain normal

The spokesperson for Iran’s Civil Aviation Organization (CAO) has refuted reports claiming that new flight restrictions or a Notice to Air Missions (NOTAM) have been issued, confirming that the country's airspace conditions remain entirely normal.

Following rumors circulating in unofficial media regarding flight limitations over parts of the country—specifically western Iran—the CAO spokesperson, Majid Akhavan, firmly dismissed the claims.

"The Civil Aviation Organization has not issued any new NOTAM, and the notice recently circulated in cyberspace is rejected," Akhavan stated, clarifying the latest operational status. "Airspace conditions across the country continue as routine, and all flights are operating according to their pre-scheduled timetables."

The spokesperson further noted that since Saturday morning, both Ahvaz and Mahshahr airports have fully resumed their normal flight operations.
