Iran's MFA Spox Condemns U.S. Attacks on Civilian Infrastructure
Iranian Foreign Ministry Spokesman Esmaeil Baghaei on Monday strongly condemned the recent U.S. military strikes on the country's southern regions, branding the targeting of civilian infrastructure and medical centers as an assault on human dignity.
Speaking during his weekly press conference in Tehran on July 20, Baghaei stressed that the strikes targeted the essential means of daily survival for the local population.
"U.S. attacks on infrastructure, medical facilities, and the resources that people rely on for their livelihoods are not just strikes on a few points on a map; they are an attack on life and human dignity," Baghaei stated.
Paying special tribute to the resilience of the population in southern Iran, the spokesman emphasized national solidarity, stating, "The south is Iran itself, and the entire nation stands as one unified body."
This is a developing story.
